Section 1: Venita and Jareen take us to School 2 where they show the basement cafeteria in a hall where students eat in shifts, a basement gym where water flows freely when it rains, and discuss the wiring problems that limit student access to computers.

Section 2: (8 min 36 sec) Sandra & Brittney spend most of their time in one subdivided classroom in a school that is over 100 years old, with no cafeteria, no gym, no music room, and no library. The two story school relies only on dividers to separate at least four classrooms and a 'resource room' for students with special needs on the second floor. At approximately 300 students, School 16 is double the intended capacity of 125. All movements in the school, from entering in the morning, to eating lunch, to using the bathroom are carefully choreographed.

Section 3: (18 min 33 sec) Venita and Jareen's reaction to news that new money will be available for school construction
